Basal'ya bazoba was a music theatre project that took place between March 2009 and April 2010. The performance gave attention to the mechanism that leads to accusation of witchery of children to a broad audience. One hundred performances were played in 24 districts of Kinshasa. More then 100.000 people visited the performance. A single-cd will was released in cooperation  with a local hiphop group to create conscience about the issue of child witches and to promote the theatre tour.
 
The project is a co-production of Theatre Embassy (Amsterdam) with partner organisation K-Mu Théâtre (Kinshasa), the Belgian-Congolese NGO Oser la Vie and Compagnie Dakar (Amsterdam).
